Which is most likely a good thing.
Rockstar has pushed back the launch of the relentlessly-hyped Western shooter, which was originally planned to release in Autumn this year, to Spring next year. The reason for this was described in the official announcement on the Rockstar website as a move to make sure the game is fully complete and polished before letting it out into the wild.
‘We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready,’ the post states. ‘We are really excited to bring you more details about the game this summer.’
Although it’s disappointing, especially for fans of the original, it sounds like it’s for the best. We’ve already waited seven years for the sequel to Rockstar’s critically-acclaimed Red Dead Redemption, what’s another six — or less — months?
For now, we’ve been left with these fantastic in-game screenshots. Are we being bribed? I think we’re being bribed.
