Better get your quick wit ready, because you’ll need it in Autumn (or Spring for the Southern Hemisphere).
Every October/November time the gods grace us with a new Jackbox Party Pack [official site]. As someone who has played — and loved every moment of — all three of the previous Jackbox Party Packs, this news has gotten me incredibly excited for my second favourite time of year.
This holy announcement has been given alongside an image of a work-in-progress Fibbage 3, which you might know to be that nifty think-up-a-good-lie-but-make-sure-you-don’t-fall-for-other-people’s-lies game.
As you can probably tell from the top left corner of the image, — and the fact that there are ten visible answers instead of the previous maximum nine, — streamers’ audiences will be able to join in the lie-detecting fun by voting on a deceiving decoy lie. They’ll also be able to pick which answer they believe to be the truth, allowing the actual players to rack up some serious points by fooling the audience.
We currently don’t know what platforms the game will release on, but we can bet that The Jackbox Party Pack 4 will be available to download digitally for PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and the handful of other devices that the previous packs made it to.
You can view the original announcement on the Jackbox Games blog here.
