Cities: Skylines Reaches Xbox One

Two years after its launch on PC, the critically acclaimed city builder/manager is now available for Xbox One consoles.

Console gamers who haven’t had the chance to play the game due to the lack of a computer or other reasons, are now able to buy it from the Microsoft Store for US$40.

Cities: Skylines – Xbox One Edition comes with a more console-optimised version of the base game, as well as the popular ‘After Dark’ expansion. It’s unsure to say whether the other DLC packs — such as Snowfall, Natural Disasters or the upcoming Mass Transit pack — will make it to Xbox One, we’ll have to wait and see.

The game’s description reads:

Cities: Skylines – Xbox One Edition puts you in charge of a growing city – from the ground-breaking of its first streets to the ever-changing needs of thousands of citizens. Design, build, and manage the city of your dreams, from public services to civic policies, and challenge yourself to grow from a simple town to a bustling metropolitan hub.
