Yet another beta has been launched, this one for Ghost Recon: Wildlands [official site] and an open one, for all to join.
Ghost Recon Wildlands’ closed beta was great, showing off teamwork and coordination and a near-endless amount of customisation. There’s an immense feeling of satisfaction after you’ve just synchronised shots with your four-man squad to kill eight enemy militants from two hundred meters, then got on your bikes and sped down to release your caged comrades, unleashing carnage on drug cartel members left right and centre. ‘Nothing personal, just business,’ you mutter, feeling like a badass as you collect the one barrel of gasoline that you massacred everyone for.
I’m not a psychopath, but it just feels awesome. In Ghost Recon Wildlands, I mean (I’d never do that in real life, of course). You can read our full thoughts here.
If you didn’t get a chance to experience the madness that Wildlands brings, you’ll be able to now. The open beta is available for everyone on PC, Xbox One and PS4 to participate in, lasting until Monday. The full download is around 24GB.
Hopefully this will give you the right taste before the game’s official launch on March 7th.
