Following the previous closed beta last weekend, medieval brawler For Honor [official site] will be having an open one next week for all to join.
Those who didn’t get the chance to participate in the last beta will be able to have a go at the new one, starting on February 9th and running through the 12th. Gamers on Xbox One, PS4 and PC can all participate.
The upcoming open beta will include the 4v4 Dominion mode, the 2v2 Brawl mode and 1v1 Duel mode, as well as a new 4v4 game mode called Elimination which, essentially, is a best-of-five, no-respawn Team Deathmatch. War of the Factions will be continued, awarding players with extra riches in the full game.
Here’s another tidbit of information from the original article that I found interesting:
Before the open beta begins, a squad of celebrity warriors and top streamers will take to Twitch to continue the War of the Factions and show off the Elimination mode. Featuring Lauren Cohan, Jason Momoa, Alfie Allen, and Demetrious Johnson, the livestreamed battle begins February 7 at 2PM PST, and you can catch it live on the For Honor Twitch Channel.
An official trailer for the open beta was also uploaded:
For Honor will fully release on February 14th for PC, Xbox One and PS4 and will cost US$60.
