Metanet Is Changing N++’s Name To Fit Its Huge Upcoming Update

Yep, that’s right; N++ [official site]’s developers could possibly be changing the minimalistic platformer’s name, thanks to a massive update scheduled to release in early 2017.

In an announcement on their website, Metanet has stated that they are considering changing the name of their game to “N++ Ultimate Edition” because it would fit the grand update, which is going to be “so big, it might as well be a sequel”.

The update will be approximately double the original size of the game when it was first released for PS4, adding a truckload of new levels, new colour schemes and a brand new singleplayer gamemode for veteran players of the game.

As well as that, the post stated that Steam Cloud support is in the works for the game (or rather, almost finished), so that you can access your N++ data anywhere, anytime. Also, the game is being ported to Mac.

More information can be found in the original announcement on Metanet’s website here.

It all looks very exciting, I’ll definitely be playing more of N++ to get back into the rhythm and tone my wall-jumping skills to get ready for the soon-to-be-released update!
